Mid-Town Motel

Nice room, comfortable beds and pillows very clean close to everything in town walking distance, quiet and peaceful. Nice room, would definitely stay here again. It’s the perfect space to stay and not break the bank.

Stayed here as part of a recent Maine road trip along the coast for 2 nights. Location was great and room were good. Extremely small bathroom, took a while for hot water to kick in for shower, but that was fine. Comfortable bed, and Julie at front office was great!!!! Just as adveritised, total throw back, reminds of vacations to wisconsin as a kid in the 70's....

Very clean and comfortable. We showed up late but we were able to still get our keys from the lock box with no troubles or confusion. They gave me exact directions.

Sweet 1950’s type motel. Julia was our most gracious hostess. She went out of her way to be helpful. The room was clean with nice bed and bedding. Convenient location. We walked to the restaurants and shops in Boothbay. On-site parking.

We travelled for 2 weeks starting in Cape cod all the way up to Bar Harbor and this hotel had the comfiest bed by far! This place is worth booking just for the bed! We stayed in the twin room and it was excellent. The location is great, you are able to walk every where in Boothbay Harbor, there is onsite parking just outside the room. The host was extremely friendly and even let us check into our room a few hours early. I highly recommend this place!

5 of 5 stars! A super cute hotel. Great location only 1 block from town and walkable to everything. The bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed the 1950s nostalgia. No frills and good pricing. We really enjoyed our stay!

I was very happy with my stay at the Midtown Motel. Great location! I was able to walk everywhere. Pet friendly, staff was very friendly and even were able to accommodate my early arrival. Clean room, has the basics and nice bedding. I liked the brand of bath products offered as well, nice smelling stuff. Thanks for a wonderful stay, would return!

Couldn't be happier to have found this great Lil Motel. The location is perfect!!! Walking distance from everything. The reviews about the bed? Believe em. King size bed and very clean and comfortable. Got the corner room. Number 11. Best one. One less neighbor next door. Parked literally on top of my rooms door. Would definitely come back without hesitation. We weren't greeted by anyone but my rooms key was left in a secure mailbox. Oh and the room smell like an old chest. Nothing a bit of febreeze won't fix. Still love it. Location, location , location.

Overall it is delightful for the price. The communication was poor regarding how to access the room after the front desk person left. This information should have been emailed prior to having to call for instructions. The exterior appearance is cute, appears well maintained and a few rooms were built on a beautiful sloping stone retaining wall. The rooms were retro themed, but this seemed to be a partial excuse for ratty worn out furniture. The window in the bathroom was in terrible condition and was flaking paint profusely- hopefully it wasn’t lead. The table and chairs outside the office were quaint but the patio umbrella was moldy and broken. It was nice to have a little bench outside the room door. The common area in the office had a Keurig, microwave, and full-size fridge, which was very convenient. The location is outstanding - just 2 blocks from downtown. Great running/walking routes nearby.
